The once-dilapidated clubhouse and bar at Staplehurst Tennis & Cricket Club have been revitalized into a stylish, inviting venue that members and their families can now truly enjoy. The renovation focused on modernizing the facility while preserving its original charm. A palette of crisp, vibrant colours was chosen to refresh the space and foster a warm, welcoming environment.

The Build

The bar area was redesigned and extended, with a new timber bar featuring copper counters and worktops. The bar was fitted with mirrored, illuminated back displays for drinks, adding a touch of elegance to the space. The flooring was updated with Amtico herringbone, and modern wall coverings were added to further enhance the contemporary feel.

The central heating system was replaced with new tower radiators, ensuring that the club house is always warm and welcoming for members and guests. New TV screens and sound systems were installed for sports events and presentations, providing an immersive viewing experience for all.

All windows and doors were replaced, and new external electronic security shutters were installed for added safety and security. Mosaic tiled W/C’s and shower rooms were created, providing modern and stylish amenities for both home and away teams.

The external decked terrace was removed, replaced, and extended to provide a perfect viewing platform for visitors to watch the games during the summer months. The new composite decked terrace was fitted with electronic awnings and heaters, ensuring that it can be used all year round.
