Enaflo’s Spring Round-Up

While the spring flowers bloomed, and the natural world awoke from hibernation, for us, it was all work and some play. From demolishing a department store in Maidstone to fitting-out a big office space in Northfleet to starting a new project in Tunbridge Wells – a well earned time out with the team attending a couple of events in London was definitely on the table.

Here’s a quick snapshot of what we’ve been up to.

A new project in Tunbridge Wells

We are pleased to announce the start of a new project in Tunbridge Wells, Kent, consisting of the strip out and Cat A & B fit-out of this 1930s era steel framed structure. The design includes open plan desking together with pod areas for quieter, private meeting spaces. New WC’s and showers, and that vital staff break area complete with games zone. This design & build will incorporate lots of new quirky details while maintaining some of the buildings original features.

Kent Space

The team have been working tirelessly around the clock to deliver this 48,000 sq ft self-storage and serviced office fit-out in Northfleet, Kent. The majority of the works are complete, and now we’re pressing on with the finishes and closeout stages.

Completion is set for later this month. Case study to follow, so keep your eyes peeled!

Done! Following months of demolition, this formal department store, once full of just about everything you would expect to see in a shop fit, is now just a vast empty space.

Time Out

First up Clerkenwell Design Week, London, EC1, celebrating their 10th anniversary. We had a brilliant day meandering through the streets checking out all of the latest trends and leading UK international brands for workplace furniture, finishes and specialist installations.

After filling our faces at The Clerkenwell Kitchen (worth a visit if you’re in the area!), we headed off to see the stunning showrooms and exhibitions CDW has to offer. We especially liked the various showcased office pods this year – beautifully presented serviced offices, within an office! Special thanks to Narbutas, Ocee, Boss Design and Era for their kind hospitality!

FIS Contractors Awards 2019

The first time we have attended this glitzy sold-out event, hosted at The Dorchester, Mayfair, London. More than 500 members and guests gathered to celebrate the sector’s incredible contractors and their projects. The level of workmanship and projects entered, from complete turn-key solutions to specialist trades was outstanding – huge congratulations to all of the winners.

And guest speaker and renowned explorer Ranulph Fiennes, entertained us with tales of his many and varied breathtaking travelling experiences.
